Connect focuses on Mobile Network Operators and connecting them to global businesses.

Wavecrest have ambitious growth plans and we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team with a focus on growing our client base and our exciting new and existing products.

What you will do:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be selling a range of Connect and Create products and services within the business-to-business environment, over the phone and face-to-face, with the focus on winning new clients.

Your efforts will be primarily based on establishing and obtaining new clients, to increase revenue, nurture business relationships, cross sell and support the overall business revenue and margin targets.

  • Achieve monthly new business and KPI targets by winning new accounts.

  • Identify, contact and build relationships with new accounts through a combination of telephone cold calls, networking and referrals.

  • Identify new client opportunities and produce business cases for approval.

  • Identify sales opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Maintain a sales pipeline and provide reports on key opportunities.

  • Provide sales input into the development of new and existing products and services.

  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to promote Wavecrest and generate leads.

  • Work effectively with decision makers to develop long term strategic relationships.

  • Prepare and present powerful, persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate the value of Wavecrest products and services.

  • Present new business or marketing opportunities to the leadership team.

  • Effectively manage contract negotiations and close new business deals.

What you will have:

  • Strong business development experience in the B2B Telecoms industry preferably in the CPaaS, Unified Communications and/or contact centre sector.

  • The ability to engage and build rapport at all levels.

  • Experience conversing with, and presenting to, senior management and business owners.

  • A self-motivated, target driven business development professional with a proven track record of achieving new business targets and exceeding KPIs.

  • An articulate and credible persona with excellent business acumen.

  • The ability to network effectively, spot opportunities, close deals and be strong enough to effectively manage the after-sales process and build internal and external relationships to maximise results for Wavecrest.

  • Strong attention to detail and a team player with a flexible approach to work.
