Wavecrest have ambitious growth plans, and we are now looking to expand our UK and European Account Management team to assist with our growing Voice and SMS products, along with additional products that include, Number Services, Managed Voice and OTT White Label Partnerships.

We are looking for an experienced account manager, ideally having worked with voice and SMS in previous roles. We want someone with the drive and determination to make a difference and provide the highest quality of service to our valuable customers, and of course have fun and share in our success!

  • To grow the existing customer base and achieve target margin and KPIs. 

  • Regularly undertake client meetings to identify and deliver opportunities that grow account revenue and margin.

  • Identify new accounts and develop the business cases for adding them to our customer base.

  • Identify sales or buying opportunities on a weekly basis, on both Voice and SMS products.

  • Manage swap deals with customers by exchanging traffic on a 2-way basis, which is then locked in over an agreed period.

  • Organise regular calls with customers and send out rates based on their requirements.

  • Reduce our traffic cost base in order to improve profitability.

  • Collaborate with Traffic Management to determine the optimum routing decisions, overrides, dedicated routing and quality.

  • Collect and share market intelligence with colleagues in Account Management, Sales and Traffic Management.

  • Work with colleagues in Product Management to provide Account Management input into the development of existing and future products.

  • Sales pipeline and account management reporting updating leadership on the progress of existing and identified sales opportunities.

  • Promoting additional Wavecrest products to existing accounts, that include Number Services, Managed Voice and OTT partnerships

Skills Required:

  • Experienced gained in account management ideally in Voice and SMS.

  • Proven ability to earn and maintain the trust of customers, grow accounts and onboard new customers.

  • A demonstratable passion for excellent customer service.

  • High energy, results focused, team player and self-starter.

  • Ability to influence colleagues in the business to deliver excellent outcomes for your customers and accounts.

  • Excellent English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Excel and Power Point.

  • Strong attention to detail.

Candidates will be required to travel overseas from time to time.
